Simplified Work Flows for the Win
When my company implemented a new work flow process, we could tell by employee feedback that there was confusion in the work flow. In this course, I learned how to collect relevant data on which part(s) of the process were causing confusion. The data revealed that the process was laid out too technically for most departments to understand. I could then clearly communicate the new work flow in low technical level terms so that all persons across all teams could complete these tasks successfully. I learned I could follow up with persons from other non-technical departments to ensure the implemented process was running smoothly. I left an open forum for continuous feedback to allow for future process improvements if needed.
