Setting up your R Environment

Join us for this live, hands-on training where you will learn how to install common tools to work with R, including the RStudio development environment and the git version control software. You'll also learn how to customize R and RStudio to be more productive. This session will run for three hours, allowing you time to really immerse yourself in the subject, and includes short breaks and opportunities to ask the expert questions throughout the training.

  • Customizing RStudio.
  • Customizing your R profile.

What should I prepare?

Users should have access to a web browser, and the ability to download software on their PC or laptop. All other materials will be provided during the session.

Who should attend?

This course is open to all DataCamp Premium learners, looking to get started working with R on their own PC or laptop. (Note that part of the session involves installing software: you should have access to a PC or laptop where you have permission to do this.) We recommend that you have taken the following course before attending:
