My Work Experience

Where I've interned and worked during my career.

Research Assistant

Assisting the Genetic Links to Anxiety and Depression Study (GLAD), the Eating Disorders Genetics Initiative (EDGI) and the Covid-19 Psychiatry and Neurological Genetics (COPING) study. Some of the projects I undertook using R and GitHub: - Sharing BioResource data with the Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration (https://ukllc.ac.uk/), a national project compiling COVID-19 data to better inform the UK’s future pandemic responses - Performing data pre-processing alongside PhD students in the Translational and Neuropsychiatric Genetics group for scientific papers - Completing a first-author research paper on participation bias, currently in peer review - Identifying and re-contacting eligible participants for new research studies - Recording NHS participant recruitment for GLAD and EDGI UK studies since 2019 - Automated data pre-processing required for sending batch texts and emails to participants
