Imperial College London | Nov 2018 - Oct 2023

Doctoral Student

Throughout my PhD research, I have focused on the integration of metabolomic information with immunological and microbiological data to gain a thorough comprehension of microbiome-host interaction within the female reproductive health context. The primary objective of my work has been to enhance preterm birth risk stratification and prediction. Additionally, I have utilized metabolic profiling techniques to monitor and assess the effectiveness of progesterone therapy and live biotherapeutics intervention in pregnancy.

Imperial College London | Jan 2018 - Nov 2018

Visitor Student - Erasmus + traineeship

During my Erasmus project, I investigated the role of metabolomics in pregnancy diseases, specifically pre-eclampsia and fetal growth restriction. I employed metabolomic analysis techniques to identify metabolic biomarkers and pathways associated with these conditions, aiming to contribute to improved diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.

Giotto Biotech | Feb 2017 - May 2017

Internship Trainee

During my traineeship at Giotto Biotech, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of docking and molecular dynamics techniques.
