Dana-Farber Cancer Institute | Aug 2021 - Jul 2022

Tech Transfer and Business Development Internship, Belfer Office for Dana Farber Innovations

Curated and analysed the intellectual property (IP) portfolio to assess market potential and commercial opportunities to bring DFCI science from bench to bedside. Led in-depth data analysis and visualisation of the IP database to uncover commercial trends and inform business development strategy, leading to a new data scientist role being advertised and being urged to apply. Wrote non-confidential summaries to elicit interest from companies to bring DFCI science to market. Provided training on best practices for IP portfolio curation.
