Senior Career Specialist

Created a self-automated dashboard updated daily to track upcoming student appointments, staff appointment KPIs, and student application trends on Handshake. Additionally, collaborated with department heads and deans to develop fully customized Tableau dashboards that provide a 10-year overview of student First Destination Survey (FDS) outcomes. Conducted ad hoc analyses on student demographics to identify trends and strategically target underrepresented student populations to improve career outcomes and engagement. Assisted in designing and implementing data-driven career pipelines using tools like Tableau, SQL, Power BI, Google Looker Studio, and Google Apps Script to track student career outcomes and measure program effectiveness. Developed and facilitated career development programs to support students in securing internships and job placements by strengthening employer partnerships, coaching students, and improving access to career resources. Supported employer engagement efforts, contributing to an increase in internship and job postings on Handshake through collaboration with industry partners, faculty, and alumni. Participated in multiple grant review committees, helping evaluate funding requests exceeding $100K for initiatives like the Summer Internship Grant, Lead Scholars Scholarship, and National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Grant. Helped expand Biola’s employer network by engaging with 50+ business and nonprofit organizations through industry collaborations, employer site visits, and targeted outreach efforts.
