Increasing Authorization Rates - Leveraged R studio to analyze online engagement rates of over 2,000 study participants to identify factors predictive of pursuing genetic result return - Applied findings to design and manage a multimodal outreach program to target participants identified as likely to authorize for genetic result return - Drove up genetic result return rates by 25% through targeted participant outreach programs Created and implemented protocol to identify and rectify biospecimen samples stuck in the genetic analysis and data release pipeline - Leveraged SQL to identify 20,000 biospecimen samples stuck in the genetic analysis pipeline - Systematically documented 20,000 biospecimen samples stalled in the genetic analysis pipeline into groups based on failed criteria - Collaborated with developers to rescue 50% of stalled biospecimen samples, enabling genetic analysis and release of data to researchers Spearheaded identifying participants without genetic results to send informative communications - Collaborated with clinical geneticists to determine criteria defining participants without genetic results - Designed protocol based on no-result criteria and leveraged R studio to identify participants without results - Identified and subsequently informed 33,000 study participants of their no- result status Published several posters at national conferences analyzing study engagement rates and consent across racial groups Co-authored a manuscript reporting on the above, target journal is Genetics in Medicine. Reviewed 1,000+ genetic reports and related materials before notifying study participants about genetic results
