• Coordinating and handling a large fleet of ready-mix trucks and drivers. Managing their daily distribution and organization throughout the lower mainland. Typically overseeing between 50-70 trucks daily, delivering on average 2000 cubic metres of concrete. • Scheduling and timecard approval of all ready-mix drivers for Rempel Brothers Concrete. Tracking and managing over 120 employees on Kronos, ensuring that everyone is paid for the exact hours worked and scheduled at the appropriate times. • Helping in the deployment of a new mobile ticketing software that was installed in all ready-mix trucks amongst all three companies. Became proficient with the software to deal with any technical issues that the drivers might come across.

Quality Control Lab Technician

• In charge of overseeing quality control of daily methods and media verification. Successfully managed to optimize viability of organisms used during quality control experiments. • Responsible for enquiring into performance of media used in the lab, launching several successful investigations into low performing media. • Developed an expertise in utilizing the DynabeadsTM method of immunomagnetic separation for the selective enrichment of Giardia cysts and Cryptosporidium oocysts. Resulting in a strong aptitude in the staining and visualization of enriched cells through microscopy. • One of a handful of PCR technicians that collaborated to optimize and validate our protocol for testing certain products using the GDS AssuranceTM system. Able to guarantee a considerably low number of tests resulting in error due to meticulous work habits and keen attention to detail.
