Senior Software Engineer

- Facilitated the hiring process for Toronto-based mid-level /junior engineers - Developed an API-based backend using Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL for our flagship product - Built employee check-in software to manage over 20,000 user check-ins per month for B2B clients - Implemented industry standard KPI tracking module for B2B clients - Plan and facilitate software releases and release schedules for the Lynchpyn platform - Mentor Frontend Engineer Interns from the University of Toronto Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain production-level services in the cloud - Identified backend API bottlenecks across the Rails codebase and kickstarted the performance evaluation of various components
