Junior Data Analyst

- Supported clients by developing, maintaining and improving Power BI, SSRS, and Paginated Reports, ensuring smooth operation of reporting systems and timely delivery of insights. - Handled service desk tickets and client requests, diagnosing and resolving reporting or data issues, and coordinating with the data engineering team on warehouse fixes and testing. - Used SQL for data investigation and ad hoc analyses, helping to identify performance trends and optimise reporting processes. - Performed diagnostic analysis on ticket sales across several online vendors. Cleaned and consolidated sales data in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Excel, and combined it with external indicators such as card transaction data and Google search trends to highlight key business drivers including customer saturation, reduced discovery, and pricing pressures. - Worked on a large-scale retail analytics project using 7.3 billion anonymised card transactions from 14.3 million customers to create an interactive Power BI league table ranking UK grocery stores by performance metrics.
