Data Science, Insight and Intelligence Manager

• Predictive analytics models – Supervised (Regressions, Decision trees etc.) and Unsupervised (cluster analysis etc.), using both, R and Python. • Support other business areas providing data solutions – Helped sales and marketing team secure and identity new business leads whilst identifying pain points increasing lead generation by 56%: o Web Scraping - Built and maintain a data solution to enhance an existing business campaign. Scraped and download PDF’s to analyse and present NHS data. Using Python: o Scrape and download 281 PDF NHS benchmark reports – Python (Scrapy) o Extract the tabular data into a database- Python o Analyse and present the data using both Power BI and R Shiny as tools. • Inferential and causal statistical analyses on a range of data: o Social media and website analytics. o Research studies and surveys. Responsible for experimental design, survey design, and a process of simulating data to use correct statistical techniques, hypothesis testing and dissemination of results to stakeholders and wider national media.  IPSOS Research – Understanding employee vs employer attitudes to wellbeing.  GLG Research – Marketing research, price analysis, competitor analysis, product preference analysis.  YouGov Research – Combination of market research and exploratory analysis of UK employees’ attitudes towards absences from work. • A/B experiments of GoodShape social media posts. • Present training for all new data products/research studies, using Figma/Figjam to make fun and engaging teaching sessions. • Survey framework. Developed with the purpose of promoting best research and statistical practices for conducting surveys for everyone in the organisation. • Business tool development using R Shiny, Power BI, SQL: o Absence cost calculator – Putting a data science solution into production.  A tool for estimating businesses cost of absences.  Prototyped and built in R Shiny for proof of concept.  Produced interactive training materials and documentation built with RMarkdown and Quarto. o Connection between SQL server and Power BI. Building views tables for Power BI and developing, the data model and design of dashboard solution.

Data Analyst

• Responsible for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data using SQL Server. • Created and maintained data dictionary. • Created interactive markdown documentation using a variety of tools with the purpose of teaching technical concepts. • To drive insight, I developed research aims on the workings, performance, and quality of the data from different perspectives (service users and staff). Utilising both R and Python. – Model to predict client drop out of treatment (CHURN/ Attrition analysis). – Inferential statistical analyses between several treatment locations. – Created automated and scheduled reports. • Helped with the migration of the legacy data system to a brand-new data warehouse using SQL.
