Junior Researcher

• Conducted experiments to enhance plant growth and secondary metabolite production in 15 plant species using cold plasma seed treatment. Achieved an 85% increase in matured seeds per buckwheat plant and 26% boost in CBDA content in hemp inflorescence • Extracted and analysed phytochemicals with HPLC, UPLC-MS, and spectrophotometry. Performed DNA extraction, amplification, sequencing, and taxonomic clustering for microbial analysis. • Organized experimental records and results using MS Office, employing statistical methods and software tools for data analysis. • Co-authored 8 scientific articles in peer reviewed international journals, with a total of 116 citations. • Mentored and guided 12 undergraduate students in all aspects of research projects, from experimental design to data analysis and report writing.

• Investigated the effects of cold plasma on hemp and buckwheat seed germination, biochemistry, and morphology, achieving a remarkable 62% increase in the length of buckwheat sprouts. • Cultivated over 840 plant samples in various environments, including in vitro, cassettes, rhizoboxes, greenhouse, and field conditions. • Analyzed experimental data with MATLAB and Python and maintained records to ensure research validity and reliable results. • Utilized a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to examine the influence of cold plasma on seed coat structure and water absorbtion.

• Implemented GMP guidelines for microbiological testing and quality control of infusion solutions. Developed and refined standard operating procedures for increased operational efficiency. • Collected 20 samples daily from bioreactors for analysis on microbial and fungicidal contamination. • Produced and sterilized 50 liters of nutrient media per week. Maintained and monitored laboratory consumables, ensuring adequate supply and quality. Prepared and sterilized lab instruments and glassware via autoclave to ensure hygiene and prevent cross- contamination. • Trained and oriented new staff on lab techniques and procedures.
