Volunteer Program Officer

I dedicated my time to a non-governmental organization (NGO) focused on addressing social and health issues affecting women and children. These issues included physical and psychological abuse, HIV/AIDS, and Cancer. As a Volunteer Program Officer, I actively engaged in outreach and awareness campaigns centred around HIV/AIDS, breast cancer, women and children's rights, as well as the overall well-being of rural women. I played a crucial role in collecting and analysing valuable data during these campaigns. Furthermore, I took on the responsibility of transcribing recorded interviews and translating some of them from Igbo to English. These efforts proved instrumental for documentary and research purposes.
