Database Maintenance Analyst

- Serve as Rating Services lead and liaison for company-wide projects and initiatives requiring database support or assistance, collaborating and facilitating communication between various users and ArcBest departments -Recognize, recommend, coordinate, and implement tariff and system level database changes, as needed - Oversee, participate in, and audit contractual and other critical or complex pricing implementation - Determine and implement the most effective and accurate database loading procedures - Coach and mentor database and rating personnel on ArcBest tariffs, rules, and pricing application - Lead and audit general rate increase processes, which generate approximately $3M/month additional revenue - Interact with IT support to design, develop, and implement solutions to improve the overall effectiveness and accuracy of database applications - Research and resolve pricing application questions/problems, often communicating resolutions to management - Manage system routing updates and requests, including updates related to service center change of operation plans - Load partner carrier agreements including any associated rates and special services - Manage weekly fuel surcharge updates for modified fuel applications - Identify and troubleshoot issues related to rating, quoting, and database systems
