A Master's thesis project involving creation of a computational 2-D thermal model and geothermal gradient assessment of the Williston Basin was undertaken in 2016-2017 and completed in December 2017.

Logged the lithological properties of rock chippings as they arrived at the surface of oil & gas wells; monitored downhole cavings and debris brough to the surface of oil & gas wells in order to help maintain structural integrity of the well; assisted in the monitoring of real-time data streams of downhole drilling parameters in order to maintain well integrity and safety of oil & gas rigs.

Performed a study of a stalactite gathered from Ulupaka Cave of the island of Niue; collected isotopic compositions of carbon and oxygen via GC-Mass Spectrometry used in eliciting regional rainfall records. Additionally, I worked as a lab assistant, preparing and carrying out out GC-Mass Spectrometry analysis of research samples for determination of carbon and oxygen isotopic compositions; maintained lab materials and equipment as necessary.
