Senior Marketing Scientist, 03/2011 – 04/2020, 07/2022 - 05/2023 Marketing Scientist, 06/2004 – 03/2011 Associate Marketing Scientist, 06/2000 – 06/2004 ● Teamed with co-workers from 1 or more business units to design and execute data-driven research projects. ● Incorporated 10+ analytical techniques and 10+ software packages to conduct analyses. ● Communicated frequently, sometimes meeting 2 or more times per day, during the analytic process with both the internal and external clients (as needed) to ensure the analysis met the client’s needs. ● Answered analytical-related questions and made recommendations to the client and the internal team. ● Proof-read reports at the end of each project to ensure correct interpretation of analytical results. ● Analyzed conjoint data (and data from other related methods) and created the numerical design used to program the survey tasks. ● Computed predictive models using regression, clustering, factoring and 2+ other advanced statistical techniques to support business decision-making. ● Built simulator tools in Excel and Visual Basic that the client uses to create real-time predicted estimates of share of preference (conjoint) or other business outcomes (Regression). ● Created segmentation solutions and profiles of each segment that are shared with the analytical team and the client, sometimes creating 50 or more solutions before finding one that met the client’s needs. ● Delivered both a syntax-based typing tool and an excel-based typing tool for segmentation solutions to the client so they could implement the typing algorithm as desired. ● Conducted 4+ other analyses as needed by one of the industry groups including quadrant charts, action grids, biplots and correspondence maps, and others. ● Trained new hires once a year (on average) analytic processes and using custom software on a project-by-project basis.
