Data Analyst

As a BMW Group partner, in this Data Analyst role I had a Data Visualization focus, creating and migrating dashboards for the Sales team using mostly Tableau, AWS QuickSight, AWS Athena, AWS Glue DataBrew and AWS S3 as the main tools. Key projects: - Conducted the migration of a Consumer Retail dashboard data source from on-premise Excel files to the AWS cloud, using S3 buckets and AWS Glue DataBrew jobs for automation, as well as Athena for query construction. The data source extract in Tableau dropped from 2+ hours to 15 minutes due to the optimizations and better query performance. - Developed the mock-up on AWS QuickSight for a banking project dashboard containing several KPIs based on documentations, some of them with the integration of dummy data into AWS Athena using AWS Glue DataBrew jobs for ETL.

I worked as a Data Analyst within the Operations area, discussing and creating solutions to give visibility to the main Performance KPIs, using data from our operational and finance databases to build dashboards in Tableau and reports in general. Key projects: - Create dashboards to support the Account Managers to improve our merchants' performance - Use Python and SQL to make an in-depth analysis of our Card Verification process to improve our customer retention - Maintain legacy dashboards, improving their usability and adapting old queries to the current process Prior to this, I have worked focused on the Commercial area for 6 months. Commercial Key projects: - Dashboard to keep track of the performance of our new customers, supporting our sales team's efforts and giving visibility to the high leadership - Dashboard containing indicators and stages of leads within our commercial funnel and also interactions and conversion rates with these leads - Support the development of reports that are the basis of the commissioning process

JR Data Analyst

I transitioned to the Data Analysis area and used mainly Tableau for developing dashboards and Redshift for data consumption. I was responsible for maintaining and improving the company's two main dashboards (main KPIs and dozens of daily accesses, including C-level ones), as well as being responsible for the internal Tableau platform, user and access management, as well as folders and data sources. In the last months, I worked within the company's Operations team, getting extremely close to the KPIs related to the performance and conversion of our payment platform. For this, still using the same tools, I worked with business developers to provide reports and dashboards that would help to understand changes in the company's numbers, as well as outline the next steps and their possible financial impacts, in Brazil and Latin America. Key points: - Improved and maintained two main dashboards that were used by C-level executives to track the company's performance. - Managed the internal Tableau platform, including user and access management, folders, and data sources. - Worked with business developers to provide reports and dashboards that helped to understand changes in the company's numbers and outline the next steps and their possible financial impacts.

Data Engineering Intern

When I transitioned to the Data career, I spent time in the Data Engineering area. I worked with the company's data pipelines, using the AWS cloud structure and its tools, such as Database Migration System (DMS), Relational Databases (RDS), and Redshift. I also used Python to maintain and expand an API of the company's indicators, also stored in AWS using CodePipeline and Lambda.

Web Development Intern

As a back-end development intern, my activities included maintaining and expanding the company's main payment API, while adhering to the best practices of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD). Key points: - Apply Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles. - Use Git and GitHub for project version control. - Follow a comprehensive workflow of Pull Requests and peer reviews before deploying changes to the production project. - Ensure platform quality by using internally developed monitoring tools and tests. - Follow Kibana and Elasticsearch for real-time monitoring of requests and transactions. I got trained in upholding high standards and practices throughout my internship to support the company's API development and optimization efforts.

Development Intern

Using the Delphi programming language, I took part in the development and maintenance of functionalities for the company's ERP system, primarily focusing on the Accounting module within the development team. Key points: - Implementation of the logic for generating the Digital Bookkeeping of Withholdings and Other Information, which is used for communication with the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service. - Delphi development environment. - SQL Server as the database management system. - Git (hosted on Bitbucket) for version control.

Web Developer

I was responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's commercial web pages, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (vanilla), and PHP. Additionally, I was the lead developer in a project to create a closed platform for company product videos and tutorials using WordPress, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Finally, I provided customer support via chat and phone for the company's systems, as well as technical assistance.
