total: 5 Retractor lines, 4 Seatbelt lines and 5 buckle lines); for Honda, Tesla, GM, Subaru following Autoliv Production System. • Created and modified standards, work instructions and first part inspection sheets according with Automotive Standard IATF16949. • Working as support with New Product Introduction team for Honda Insight and Accord 2019 working directly with the customer in product requirements, machine validation, laboratory tests, process capability indexes following APQP structure. • Supporting new products implementations models performing and analyzing historical data, requirements, machine validations, process capabilities, etc. for Honda Insight, Civic and RDX. • Improved machine operations to prevent failure mode occurrence and improve detections according Lean Manufacturing Tools (7 Wastes of Lean) • Created, analyzed and updated Flow Charts, FMEA and Control Plan for several lines across the plant for Honda and Subaru. • Analyzed In a daily basis Material Review Board (MRB) for updates and disposition reviewing with cross functional team such as designers, process and management. • Continuous improvement on Zero defects projects for retractor lines improving four different lines with more than $120,000 in scrap reduction. Major improvement in line were from 4.50% to 1.11% total scrap.
