Economist

• Participant of the ONS Data Science Graduate Scheme. • Lead analyst for two high priority policy areas, working in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that decisions are underpinned by robust analysis. • Extensive experience drawing insight from complex datasets, such as developing R analysis to recommend how to deliver cattle vaccination and modelling the economic implications of animal disease outbreaks. • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop other analysts.

Economist

• Delivered timely analysis during the Covid-19 pandemic, including modelling the economic impact on London's Central Activities Zone and developing the London Covid-19 Resilience Dashboard. • Developed innovative analysis, such as combining spatial datasets to recommend where to invest in full fibre broadband. • Regularly presented complex economic theories and analysis to a non-technical audience, including senior stakeholders.
