Engineering Manager - Leader Tribe

As our B2B business grew, we split the Enterprise Engineering squad in 2 teams and positioned them in a closely collaborative group called the Leader Tribe. Both teams are still responsible for catering for our B2B customers. - The Group Hub team oversees the LMS (learning management system), member management, licenses management and reporting. - The Enterprise Integrations team focussed on integrating our systems with customers’ systems such as LMS, SSO and others. With the Group Hub team we launched the Data Connector, a reporting API built with AWS S3 & AWS Athena. Through the Data Connector our customers are able to plug our reporting into their Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or PowerBI. This offered our enterprise customers the unparalleled ability to include reporting on their upskilling program in their own internal reporting tools and dashboards rather than requiring them to collect reporting data from various sources and manually run reporting every time they need an update. Supported the Integrations team to build and launch a new event driven integrations platform which enabled us to quickly develop new integrations with customers’ Learning Management Systems based on APIs or flat file exports. We built and rolled out integrations with SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, SABA, Degreed and many more.

Engineering Manager - Enterprise Engineering Squad

Supported the Enterprise squad. This multidisciplinary team created value and ROI for our B2B customers. We built the tools and platform needed for the admins and managers to create custom learning paths for their students and advanced reporting tools.

Engineering Manager - Learner Journey squad

Lead the team responsible for guiding the Learner/Student throughout their data upskilling or data-literacy journey. We helped students efficiently navigate our Data Science and Analytics curriculum, optimizing the overall platform experience by integrating the different learning tools we offer into a Learn Hub. We launched a new Learning dashboard and experimented with new versions of learning paths using our Skill Assessment platform to help students learn what they need to learn when they need it. Was responsible for driving and launching an architectural migration of our front-end together with our staff engineers. We introduced a new Microfrontends architecture enabling teams to autonomously develop, build and deploy front-ends in our customer-facing applications.

Supported the software engineering team responsible for creating the Skill Assessment platform called DataCamp Signal. Our team was responsible for building the product and growing the adoption of our unique Machine Learning driven platform for assessing data skills and identifying skill gaps. Successfully graduated the product into the core of our new Certification and Talent platform.
