Data Scientist Technician

-Identifying the data-analytics problems that offer the greatest opportunities to the organization. - Programming languages used: Python, JavaScript, R, C++. - Developing automated data pipelines. -Determining the correct data sets and variables. -Cloud computing: Azure (incl. ADF and ADLS) -Collecting large sets of structured and unstructured data from disparate sources. Quality Control Technician

-Analysis and control of the continuous distillation process, using analytical techniques assigned to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. - Development and improvement of the analysis techniques established for the optimization of environmental resources such as the control of industrial waters, using analysis techniques such as: Organic extraction of ammonia nitrogen by ultraviolet-visible; volatile organic compounds (VOC) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) by gas / mass chromatography (Agilent Technologies - Agilent Mass Hunter and Chemstation). - Acid / base titrations using automatic titrators (Mettler Toledo) for the determination of sulfides, bisulfides and chlorides. - Determination of the humidity percentage using the innovative “Karl-Fischer” technique (KF V30-Mettler Toledo) with a Stromboli oven for solid samples. - Simultaneous nitrogen / sulfur analysis with the modular "Multitek Antec" system, as well as with the LECO elemental analyzers, based on high temperature combustion for the detection of different elements such as C, H, N, O. - Use of the advanced analyzer AMA 254 for the determination of mercury in solid and liquid samples by means of atomic absorption spectroscopy. - Development of new methods using innovative techniques in gas chromatography (Agilent Technologies-Chemstation), such as the measurement of phenols in tars by derivatization as well as Simulated Distillation (SIMDIS) in light and heavy oils. - Assistant in the R + D + i department, supporting the instrumental analysis of High Resolution Liquid Chromatography (HPLC-Agilent Technologies) for the determination of sugars in liquid samples.
