My duties at Booking includes: · Advocating Booking.com brand in the market through marketing events and promotional activities. · Working closely with accounts to maximize portfolio growth and future revenue opportunities. · Conducting data analysis and business reporting to forecast market trends and initiate local projects. · Implementing tracked and evaluated campaigns/projects by using analytic tools. As Booking.com is one of the leading online travel agencies in the world, it was always a dream to work here. During this time, I have gained a deeper understanding of the market & the industry, assisted my 400+ key accounts to grow revenue, and effectively monitored business performance metrics. My work has contributed to the growth of the Hanoi market. By the Dec 2019, Hanoi is the fastest-growing market of Booking.com Vietnam, accounting for almost 32% of all Vietnam market. The pandemic has forced Booking.com to go through a considerable restructuring process, and my department at the company was affected. After a discussion with the management team, I decided to leave the company and start a new chapter of my career path.

Holiday Inn Express Sydney MP is the first “Express” hotel opened in Australia. I joined the new team just a few months after its official opening. Being such a unique and small group gave me opportunities to experience all the aspects of hotel operation from the reservation, front desk to restaurant & housekeeping. At the same time, I also contribute to form the working culture at this hotel which later on applied to other “Express” hotels in Australia. Unlike other hotels, the express hotel requires employees to perform(d) different roles with high efficiency as the number of staff at the hotel is limited. The requirement helps me to enhance my organisation skill and my multi-task skill significantly. My tasks, including: · Welcoming guests upon their arrival, assign rooms and provide information about our hotel. · Ensuring efficient resolution of all guest inquiries for various hotel services and operations. · Assisting in making all room reservations and ensuring maximize room revenue and ensure reservation details updated within required operating procedures. · Coordinating with the sales department and managing all communication for group bookings and maintaining all calendars for the hotel. In December 2017, I was honoured to receive the award of “ Employee of The Year” thanks to my outstanding performance and dedicated contribution at work. Even though, I leant a lot at during the time of working here, I also decided to drive my career towards leisure and tourism rather than staying hospitality. After I quit my full-time position for another position at a travel agency in August 2018, I continue my casual employment with the hotel until April 2019.
