Workforce Planning Advisor at Cigna

I built and maintain the capacity model and run monthly planning reports for the Presale department. - Performs the capacity forecasting function for back office operational teams, specific to Presale. - Review and trend key metrics such as receipts, inventory, membership, attainment, productivity, at work/on prod, attrition, volume mix, and the respective staffing requirements. - Manage relationships with key stakeholders both within the work force management organization and with direct customers. - Review results with matrix partners on a monthly basis, providing strategic direction on how to best leverage the staff going forward, what their forecasted results are and provide recommendations on new hire needs, conversion skill needs and up-training needs. - Maintain financial documents in support of the aligned team to show costs around projected headcount needs and overtime costs. - Understand the long term and short-term plans for Presale, that maximize overall resource utilization across all available supply levels. - Monitor and publish results to plan, identify gaps; & lead remediation strategy with operations. - Generate & review the long-term capacity files with the client supervisors and managers to ensure assumptions are accurate and up to date. - Communicate client inventory hot spots and remediation plans to Senior Leadership within Client. - Actively participate in recurring team meetings and 1x1s.
