My research area is in the data quality of social determinants of health variables sourced from the electronic health record. My hope is that my work can be used to improve the validity and reliability of health equity research. While in this position my responsibilities were as follows: designed and carried out research projects in healthcare informatics; analyzed real-world health data; used Stata, Python, SQL and ArcGIS to conduct statistical tests such as logistic regression, Fisher's exact test, and others; wrote up and disseminated research results (see below); taught (see below); coordinated research teams and collaborations with groups such as the National Covid Cohort Collaborative, OHSU's Family Medicine Department, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Registry, and others.

Supervisory duties included weekly check-ins, hiring, termination, handling worker’s compensation claims, conducting annual performance evaluations, approving time cards, and creating the weekly team schedule. Decreased turnover among my team’s staff. Solely responsible for providing training on medication management to all staff in the agency.
