About Me
Dan Nechita, lead technical negotiator for the EU AI Act, served as Head of Cabinet for MEP Dragos Tudorache (2019-2024), focusing on AI, digital regulation, and security. Formerly a State Counselor for Romania on e-governance, he worked at the World Security Institute, Brookings Institution, George Washington University, and ABC News. An expert evaluator for the EU and member of AI working groups, he holds degrees from George Washington University (M.A.) and Columbia University (B.A.).
