Data Production and Dissemination Officer (EC-02)

• Process, analyze, and review research project applications with various stakeholders (academic, non-profit, federal, provincial, municipal) for microdata access with Confidentiality Classification Tool (CCT) score ranging from 0-9. • Successfully handle up to five new projects concurrently each week, coordinating with subject matter experts, research data center staff, and researchers to ensure efficient turnover within 2-3 weeks. • Track the progress of 20+ ongoing projects monthly using intermediate-level MS Excel and MS Dynamics, enabling management and directors to stay informed about the status of applications. • Responsible for gathering contact information, drafting contracts, and creating accounts for federal research projects such as Bank of Canada, Public Health Canada, Employment and Social Development Canada, and more. • Evaluate proposals' data requirements and statistical analysis techniques for microdata access, supporting the institutional review process and reducing the rate of revised and resubmitted proposal requests. • Utilize MS Dynamics at intermediate level for the customer relationship management system, enabling contact's and project's information are well collected and organized. • Collaborate with subject matter experts, IT, data center staff, and data transfer teams to implement smooth processes for business data requests. • Process microdata access applications and amendments in adherence to Statistics Canada's policies, directives and procedures. Assume responsibility for governing access to microdata to researchers outside Statistics Canada Provide support, expertise and standards of data provision to external clients and subject matter areas within Statistics Canada Ensure the confidentiality of information provided by Canadians is protected in all programs for microdata access. • Respond to functional mailbox inquiries as assigned within 24 hours of receiving. • Implement new ways of doing business as well as performs testing for new applications
