Statistical Programmer - SAS

• Streamlined data operations by extracting, transforming and loading data from Greenplum database, Fixed ASCII, EBCDIC, delimited files such as CSV, TAB, PIPE and generated Html, Excel, Pdf output files for reporting purposes. • Automated Cumbersome SAS processes through creating efficient macros - making them dynamic to various input formats and involved in cost optimization of SAS processes by using SAS macros and complex SQL queries which improved performance. • Accountable for debugging, testing and code validation in production meeting client requirements and performed data migration from multiple clusters to Cloud platform. • Developed and optimized SAS programs to resolve complex data problems, delivering projects on time and meeting client's needs. • Developed Credit risk, Credit score attributes in Python and tested them to ensure compatibility with Cloud applications and maintained version control through GitHub. Accountable for achieving accurate results in code optimisation and in creating new credit score attributes. Executed python scripts using egg packages on Hadoop Clusters, achieving accurate results. • Offered valuable technical insights during project interviews and evaluated nearly 150 trainees. • Executed Scala scripts in Spark on Monthly and Quarterly basis using new Input data from the customer, for comparing with the results from previous applications to obtain Clean match. • Streamlined testing by creating Hive tables in HUE using Avro data files as input and performed Hive Queries (HQL).
