Junior Consultant (Research Assistant)

Supported implementation of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) for clients in different industries by conducting literature reviews, designing surveys, analyzing data, transcribing and summarizing focus group meetings, and developing presentations. Clients include the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), provincial and city governments, and a university in BC, Canada.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University | Sep 2021 - Nov 2022

Project Associate, Educational Development Centre

Assisted in the compilation of reports on a territory-wide institutional quality assurance exercise. Collected information and carried out an analysis of over 250 departmental and programme review surveys across the University. Conducted a University-wide study on grading practices to audit the Criterion- Referenced Assessment (CRA) and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) implementation. Held and supported more than ten focus group meetings for academic and non-academic departments across the University.

Engineering Associate, Cyber-Physical Systems

Assisted in the research, design, development, and evaluation of the mechanical system for a robotic manipulation system for the manufacturing assembly process by adopting the Digital and Physical Twins Approach. Conducted mechanical design with 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, including SOLIDWORKS. Provided procurement and administrative support to a government-funded Innovation and Technology project.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Students' Union | Sep 2019 - Apr 2021

Honorary Advisor

Provided recommendations for the University in implementing online teaching at the beginning of the pandemic. Prepared a proposal for the alternation of the membership system effective since 1974. Translated the Students’ Union Constitution, By-laws and other Regulations from Chinese (Traditional) to English with a total word count of over 45,000 words.
