Data Analyst intern

Completed my Master's thesis with Dr. Shauna O'Donovan as part of the Computational Biology group in the Dept. of Biomedical Engineering at TUE. Conducted research on obesity-related immune-metabolic changes. Used Python, R, and Matlab to integrate large-scale gene expression and clinical data into Genome-Scale Metabolic Models (GSMMs) of immune cells. Analyzed metabolic responses to dietary challenges, uncovering unique shifts in immune-metabolic pathways post-meal (T120), contributing to personalized nutrition insights and cardiometabolic disease risk assessment.

• Worked hard to improve performance of hanging garments onto sorting system by hanging over 10% above daily targets, which saved company time. • Attained hourly targets of loading garments onto machines so that scheduled delivery deadlines were fulfilled. • Responsible for maintaining quality by determining if garments required further washing, repair or replacement to prevent customer dissatisfaction. • Good communication between co-workers to perform procedures and operate multiple machines at once to keep laundry as efficient as possible.
