Postdoctoral Researcher

My work is focused on locomotion and sensing in marine worms as they burrow in sediments. I am using pressure sensors to detect motion in the opaque muds and determine animal behaviors in response to changing environments.

Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant

My research was on locomotion and sensing in freshwater fish. I mentored two undergraduates in the lab, and coauthored a paper with one of them. This research resulted in two peer-reviewed journal articles. My teaching was primarily in the area of physiology. I created lesson plans, homework, and quizzes as well as demonstrated and led pre-made lab exercises. I also handled the majority of the clerical work, IT work, grades, and student inquiries.

Undergraduate Researcher

I worked on locomotion, sensing, and feeding in various invertebrates. I published two peer-reviewed articles based on this work.
