Real Time and Playback Interpretation of Fracturing Pressure Data Methods and Devices for Hydraulic Fracturing Design and Optimization: A Modification to Zipper Frac SimulFrac Operations Optimization Based on Interwell Statistical Analysis of the Mechanical Specific Energy Logs o Perforation Placement: Created a novel perforation placement optimization algorithm to replace the legacy process, accelerating processing times from hours to minutes and enhancing flexibility by enabling the loss function to be user-determined. o MSE Log Generation: Digitally transformed the workflow to generate well mechanical specific energy profiles which improved profile consistency and slashed processing time by a factor of 20. ▪ Enhanced the data-cleaning process from partial to full automation. ▪ Created a novel hybrid mechanistic/statistical model to recreate pressure drop across drilling bottomhole assembly (BHA) from irregularly sampled pressure data. ▪ Devised a machine learning algorithm model that auto-detects rig state using drilling data. o Simulfrac Optimization: Co-developed a novel method (patent pending) to optimally pair horizontal wells on a pad during Simulfrac operations using well mechanical specific energy logs.
