• Developed and programmed methods using automated liquid handlers (Hamilton, Bravo, Biomek) for RT-qPCR, bead-based, and column-filtration- based extraction for COVID-19 testing in CLIA compliant laboratory. • Successfully automated both magnetic bead-base extraction and column- filtration extraction, resulted in decrease of sample extraction processing time and increased total processing capacity by more than half. • Translated workflows from proof of concepts to automated pipeline that result in an increase of productivity. • Monitored productivity trends using complex SQL queries to create correlating dashboards. • Executed validation plans cross-team with R&D, IT, and software, finalized SOPs by ensuring IQ/OQ report submission, and written in-house performance qualification reports (PQ) on instrumentation. • Followed GDP to provide training to operators and officiates training documents on associated instrumentation. • Traveled cross multiple sites to assist with development of new automation methods, streamlining existing automated processes, and improving laboratory operations workflows.
