Rewriting the Code | Oct 2023 - Present

RTC UK Ambassador (Volunteer)

Rewriting the Code is a non-profit organisation which supports and empowers 30k students and early career women in tech, through intersectional communities, scholarships, mentorship, industry experience, educational resources and year-round events in collaboration with corporate partners to become the next generation of engineers and tech leaders. I will be work with an amazing team of passionate women to craft and execute RTC's strategy for engaging with the community, as well as representing UK members at national events. As an Ambassador for Rewriting the Code, I aim to champion diversity and inclusion in the tech industry by advocating for women in technology.

Product Manager, B2B2C

Pioneer product team member responsible for comprehensive product design and development process for a Mental Health subscription and scheduling services leveraging chatbot technology. This included product requirement documentation, creating user stories, defining features, and developing a product roadmap, which guided the successful development and launch of both products. I also conducted thorough testing on new features in the app and collaborated closely with product design and engineering teams to triage and resolve bugs in a timely manner, ensuring a seamless user experience. Utilized data analysis and conducted user interviews, customer training sessions, and demos to showcase new product features. This resulted in an enhanced user experience and increased customer satisfaction.

Internal Product Manager (HR)

As the Internal Product Manager,I optimized the employee lifecycle processes to attract, engage, and retain exceptional individuals. Built a high-performing team of over 30 Tech talents, effectively delivering business objectives and driving our vision. I spearheaded the digitization and automation of HR, resulting in the rollout of two HR systems that significantly reduced hiring time, eliminated redundant tasks, and improved the candidate and employee experience. Delivered the E2E user for new staff and lead the automation of HR operations, this significantly reduced hiring time by 50%, and eliminated redundant tasks by 80%. Defined user-stories and worked with other team members to analyse these stories for colleague onboarding and other related employee journey improvements. Collaborated with customer services, product team and engineering teams to conduct user needs interviews, app testing and feature releases for our B2B investment products, leading to 20% increased conversion and retention rates. As a coach to people managers, I led occasional career workshops and skills building sessions enhancing career growth and mobility of Hi-potential employees.

Project Manager (Strategic HR Projects)

I spearheaded change management projects across 7 countries, focusing on digital transformation and employee experience enhancements. Partnered with cross functional teams to analyze existing HR & business processes, identify inefficiencies, and roll out improvement projects. Conducted market and user research, systems requirements analysis, mapping user flows, and selected appropriate digital products and vendors ensuring alignment with team/busienss needs. Within 3 months of joining, I gathered and analysed 100+ user-submitted surveys, used feedback to successfully implement and lead the growth of mPharma’s recognizing excellence daily (RED) program to promote and enhance a strong culture of recognition. Over 90 employees received recognition between July 2019 and December 2021. Implemented a comprehensive talent acquisition and onboarding workflow to attract top product and engineering talent for mPharma, resulting in a 40% increase in qualified applicants and achieved a reduction in time to fill technical positions from 90- 35 days. Led the implementation of three HR products (Reflektive, BambooHR, Harvard Manage Mentor), improving operational efficiency and reducing time spent on mundane tasks.

eHealth Africa | Mar 2014 - Feb 2016

Human Resources Manager

Entered eHA when it was undergoing rapid growth spurt with no established HR Vision/practices.  As a result, I built the people department from the ground up. I defined the HR people vision, set the people strategy, and delivered innovative and effective people initiatives used across four country offices in West Africa at the time. To manage the significant growth in response to the Ebola outbreak, I developed and executed a recruitment and people strategy. Through effective management, we were able to grow 80 to over 300 employees in 2014. As part of a sourcing strategy to build early career strength, I launched the eHA internship program. Additionally, I provided occasional career support to eHA employees, including career growth, career transition, job rotations, general advisory, and wellbeing. Served as Project Manager for the digitization of HR and led the deployment and implementation of eHA's first HRIS which helped  improve our operations efficiency allowing us  enough time to focus on people partnering.
