I am currently a research fellow at the IFIC (Valencia) working in the neutrino research group, which collaborates with the DUNE project - a large detector dedicated to studying neutrino oscillations. My specific task involves conducting simulations in Python to measure the efficiency of a photon detection system. Through my work at IFIC, I have gained valuable experience in neutrino physics and detector technology, and have developed a strong foundation in programming and data analysis in Python and MATLAB. My work on the photon detection system has involved designing and implementing simulation algorithms, as well as analyzing large datasets to measure system efficiency. This has required a high level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Overall, my time at IFIC has been a valuable learning experience, allowing me to apply my knowledge in physics and programming to a real-world research project.
