In the transition to the Fintech team at BEES, a marketplace created by AbInbev with a global presence, I led the creation of our global payment gateway and the implementation of payment methods in the marketplace, aiming at financial digitization and improving NPS and AOV. I successfully implemented new payment methods in key markets such as Mexico, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, and South Africa, significantly contributing to the expansion and efficiency of our payment operations.

Senior Product Manager

At BEES Bank Brasil, I led innovation in payments for the industry, focusing on improving the payment relationship between our clients (bars, markets, and restaurants) and their suppliers (Ambev). My work involved scaling PIX as the primary payment method, resulting in exponential growth in the number of unique active users per month and transaction volume, and digitizing over 40% of cash payments for Ambev. I was also responsible for Direct Pay, a P2P service that allowed BEES Bank clients to select and pay Ambev invoices directly, achieving a record transaction volume in December 2022.

At Stilingue, I took on the challenge of managing Smart Care, an innovative social care (SAC 3.0) product used by major Brazilian companies for customer service through social networks. In this role, I was instrumental in reducing incidents and bugs by 30%, improving communication with stakeholders, and directing the team to solve problems at their root cause. A major milestone was leading the launch that included Instagram Direct Messages in our product, allowing our clients to use this vital channel to serve their consumers, generating a significant volume of messages exchanged in the first month. Subsequently, I took responsibility for the Social Listening product, developing a solution to facilitate brand crisis analysis and management, offering automated insights based on social network data.

At Bradesco, within the innovative sphere of Inovabra, I had the privilege of leading key product initiatives, creating an innovation and product development culture from scratch. This journey involved developing a product framework adopted across the innovation area, impacting over 12 initiatives and culminating in the creation of a digital product development bootcamp that reached more than 140 employees. Among the initiatives I led, I highlight the construction of a platform for SMEs leveraging the Bank's assets and Open Banking possibilities, integrating mortgage financing APIs to streamline the housing journey, and including Disney+ in the Bank's digital channels, redefining how we interact with digital services. Furthermore, I actively contributed to Bradesco's digital transformation framework, promoting the development of agile and multidisciplinary teams.

following an inspiring Startup Weekend Maker in 2015, I had the unique opportunity to create an intelligent toy that makes learning programming an adventurous and playful experience for children. This endeavor was deeply enriching, allowing me to lead several iterations of the product, incorporating valuable feedback from over 200 children to continually improve our offering. Collaborating with renowned organizations such as Endeavor, Facebook (FbStart), Telefónica Foundation, and Lehmann, in addition to participating in acceleration programs with Baita and Samsung (Creative Startups), significantly broadened our visibility and access to crucial resources. These years were pivotal not only for Guimo's growth but also for solidifying my passion for product development as I recruited and guided the initial team, developed pitches for investors, and established strategic partnerships with global universities.

Centro de Empreendedorismo Unifei | Feb 2014 - Feb 2016

Innovation Agent

Managed activities and programs of the Federal University of Itajuba’s Entrepreneurship Center I helped to create more than ten entrepreneurship education programs in the University and execute more than 20 programs; these programs impacted around 2k students per year (almost 30% of students of the University every year). Endeavor recognized us two times in this period with best programs in entrepreneurship education with the programs Maker Hacklab and Bota Pra Fazer UNIFEI. Main projects developed: 1) LAB001 - Pre-acceleration program of Hardware and Hard-Sciences of the Federal University of Itajubá in partnership with the accelerator Baita. Execution of 2 cycles per year with an average of 5 startups per period. 2) Ninja Startup Job - Startup vacation program in startups for undergraduate students that offers the opportunity to work at a startup during recess. 3) Maker Hacklab - Internet Business Marathon of things lasting nine days. 4) Bota Pra Fazer UNIFEI - Social entrepreneurship event involving more than 800 UNIFEI students carrying out entrepreneurship projects in NGOs, schools, and the city of Itajubá and Itabira for one week. Other projects: Startup Bus UNIFEI, Complementary Training in Entrepreneurship (Minor in Entrepreneurship), Startup Talks, Maker Club, among others.
