Digital Payments Project Officer

I acted as the bridge between the internal business, operations, IT teams and the outsourced software development firm that built the Rwanda National Digital Payment System V2. I communicated the business requirements and ensured that all developments met internal expectations. Additionally, I identified key performance metrics for internal projects which made it easier to measure its overall impact.

Personal Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

Working directly with the CEO and the executive management teams, I established tracking and supervision processes that increased visibility of projects and their timelines. Through this, we saw increased participation of clients in industry workshops and forums. Additionally, I refined all company communications that went out to stakeholders, ensuring that the message was clear and concise. Working closely with the HR department, I co-organized training and other company activities, ensuring engagement and post-activity surveys gathering feedback.

Assistant Product Owner

Following Agile (SCRUM) methodology, I ran daily standup meetings with a team of 5 engineers, and assisted the product owner in Sprint reviews and planning that mapped the weekly focus and tasks of the dev team. As part of the improvement project of Prodeal, I assisted and documented the recommended improvements and feature developments from user interviews.

Market Research Intern

As a January intern, I had the opportunity to review the Prodeal website's 200 articles in their help center to increase knowledge of the Prodeal application but also to improve the product's SEO. I also executed my own research project on improving the app's usability by interviewing a chosen user group (lawyers) following UX principles, and recommended a few improvements.
