- Ensure stable and reliable ISP network services (e.g. access products, service networks and core network). - Network performance monitoring. -Network troubleshooting and fault analysis - Trouble ticket generation and response; carrier interface and escalations. - Deployment and maintenance of network monitoring, analysis and reporting tools. - Application of configuration changes via change control systems and processes. - Participate in a 24x7 call-out shift. Qualities: - Able to analyze problems and conduct effective fault diagnosis and system recovery. - Clear communicator (written and verbal). - Capable of prioritizing and managing own workload. - Fully aware of the importance of data/information security. - Experience of working in a busy, inbound call center environment - Team work - Self-motivated. - Capable of working/using own initiative with minimal supervision. - Keen to contribute ideas, share knowledge and help others develop. - Familiar working in a Network Operations Center. - Knowledge in fiber Optics. - Keen to develop new skills and knowledge
