Tech Lead, Program Manager and Agile Coach

After taking part in Deploy(impact) as a participant, I was inspired to join the WomenPlusPlus team to help them organize this program for the next years. Leveraging my experience, I actively mentored participating teams in the hackathon as an agile coach during the second edition. This role allowed me to contribute to the success of the event by guiding teams towards effective collaboration and goal achievement.

Spring ACT | Nov 2021 - Jul 2022

Tech Team Lead

I contributed to the primary project, a chatbot designed to assist individuals dealing with domestic violence. My contributions included: Enhancing Scalability: I bolstered the development's scalability by introducing text-to-action routing, a feature implemented in Python. This optimization allowed for more efficient and targeted responses within the chatbot. Ensuring Reliability: In an effort to ensure uninterrupted service during production releases, I established robust deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps. This proactive measure eliminated the risk of downtime, guaranteeing a smooth and reliable user experience.

IRCCS Fondazione Stella Maris | Mar 2019 - Mar 2022

Research Software Engineer

I played a crucial role within the IMAGO7 Foundation's team, contributing to the redesign and enhancement of our Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF) software package. My involvement encompassed various responsibilities and achievements: Software Life-cycle Management: Besides development, I ensured the software's smooth operation. I managed maintenance, rigorous testing, timely releases, meticulous debugging, and coordinated the project team effectively.

BeyonDoc | May 2020 - Jul 2021

Junior Technical Consultant

I contributed significantly to a Web Application, designed to empower customers in creating and managing documents. My contributions included: Infrastructure Enhancement: I played a pivotal role in enabling efficient troubleshooting by conceiving and deploying a new infrastructure using Docker. Efficient Local Development: I simplified the local development by implementing a mock server, eliminating the need for microservices during development and simplifying the development workflow. Test-Driven Development: My efforts extended to enabling a test-driven development approach. I established Karma and Cypress environments, fostering a comprehensive testing framework for the application.

Microsoft | Mar 2019 - Apr 2020

Junior Technical Consultant

I designed and developed an ASP.NET Core (2.2) MVC Web Application, empowering customers to efficiently plan and oversee promotions. My contributions included: Core Module Implementation: I conceptualized and implemented a core module dedicated to the management of customer data. This module featured robust data validation and dispatch capabilities, enhancing data integrity and workflow efficiency. Enhanced Data Handling: To address a persistent issue related to application fragility, I engineered a flexible and reusable module specifically for reading and uploading CSV files. This module accommodated various international standards, significantly reducing data handling complexities. Versioning and Release Optimization: I improved the versioning and release processes by developing NuGet packages for authentication and authorization modules.

IRCCS Fondazione Stella Maris | Sep 2018 - Feb 2019

Research Fellow

Research and Development: As a part of the research team, I led a project aimed at improving the schedule design for parameter quantification in MRI acquisition. The following works were accepted as posters at ISMRM conference: Fast parameter mapping at 7T with SSFP MR Fingerprinting using 3D radial trajectories https://archive.ismrm.org/2018/4260.html Schedule design for parameter quantification in transient state using Bayesian optimization https://archive.ismrm.org/2019/4523.html Academic Mentorship: I had the privilege of mentoring two Computer Science students during their Bachelor's thesis projects. This experience allowed me to share my knowledge and guide budding talents in the field.

IRCCS Fondazione Stella Maris | Mar 2017 - Aug 2018

Research Software Engineer

I started working at the IMAGO7 foundation during my university studies as independent contractor. I was part of the team that implemented new techniques to acquire and reconstruct quantitative magnetic resonance imaging. - I eliminated a single point of failure by setting up from scratch a Hyper- V Fail-over Cluster, as I was in charge of maintaining the Hyper-V virtual environment; - I allowed to perform parallel computations and increased the computation speed by 30% by performing hardware upgrades on main servers used for imaging reconstruction; - I was in charge of the maintenance, testing, release, debugging and coordinating development tasks of the Magnetic resonance fingerprinting software package.

Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 Team | Jan 2016 - Jun 2016

Analysis Programmer

I created a comprehensive application, designed to track and manage the history of detected faults on the track. This project involved collaborative work with users to define problem specifications, gather system requirements, and design the solution.
