Support for the construction of the proprietary GMP cell factory of the group with focus on selection of the equipment. Training of the GMP manufacturing staff on the cell production process for an IND based on human MSCs. Coordination of experiments for improvement of the manufacturing process.

Master Thesis Project

Thesis title: “Optimizing the use of the software Pairwise Comparative Modelling (PCM) for prediction of antimicrobial resistance determinants in human stool derived microbiome data.” Analysis of the computational resource’s usage for the Nextflow based software PCM. Development of a new version of PCM that allowed a more flexible allocation of the resources. Validation of the new version of the software using soil derived metagenomic sequences and benchmarking against the original version of the software. Assembly and gene prediction of the metagenomic sequences derived from human stool and saliva samples. Application of the software to this dataset.

Regulatory affair activities together with external consultants. Facility management. Strategical planning together with the CEO of the company. Participation in the Board meetings. Business development through negotiation of partnership with other companies of the field. Consulting activities for the sister companies of the TAKURA AB group.
