– Conduct research evaluating the new crop option in the coupled simulation of the Community Atmosphere Model 4/Community Land Model Version 4 with a Carbon Nitrogen Cycle. – Conduct research verifying pre-convective environments in WRF3-km forecasts using sounding data from the Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Tornadoes Experiment Part 2 (VORTEX2). – Conducted research pertaining to poleward moisture transport in re-curving tropical cyclones. Worked with Weather and Research Forecasting (WRF) model and Read Interpolate and Plot (RIP) Version 4 program for analysis.

Mobile Soundings Operator

Worked with the Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Tornadoes Experiment Part II (VORTEX 2). – Prepped Vaisala RS-92 radiosondes to collect sounding data (wind, wind direction, humidity, height). – Operated with a sub-team of 4 vehicles to collect data from designated areas of supercells. – Worked as a team along with NSSL,NCAR, and others from various Universities.
