Key Responsibilities & Achievements: Forecasting & Price Recommendation Pipelines: Developed and optimized data-driven pipelines for demand forecasting and price recommendations, supporting smart retail strategies and inventory management across numerous product categories. Ensured models were robust, scalable, and delivered actionable insights to key stakeholders in merchandising and pricing. Scalable Data Science Infrastructure: Led efforts to scale data science workflows to encompass all product categories, leveraging Azure Databricks and the PySpark framework. Migration Specialist — J2EE Applications & Mainframe Automation As a key member of a high-impact team, I contributed to a large-scale migration initiative, successfully transitioning 13 enterprise J2EE applications from IBM WebSphere Application Server to Apache Tomcat. This effort was instrumental in reducing licensing costs, modernizing the technology stack, and enhancing application agility for future innovation. Key Highlights: Orchestrated and participated in the end-to-end migration process, including application discovery, planning, compatibility analysis, and coordinated cutover with minimal business disruption. Worked extensively with Java-based packaging, WAR file deployments, and database connectivity optimizations to fit the Tomcat environment.
