Research Assistant

Research Assistant, University of Idaho May 2018 - Present Saturn’s moon Enceladus (in collab with NASA Ames) - Submitted for publishing ● Predicted the average size of 3 micron for particles in the icy volcano of Enceladus (Saturn’s moon) by training Deep Neural Network on synthetically generated data ● Improved the accuracy of the model to over 90% by adding artificial noise to both training and observed data leading to converging target variable with quantified uncertainty on each sample Dust above the Moon’s surface (in collaboration with NASA Ames Research Center) - Published ● Constrained the amount of dust to 142 m-3 in the Moon’s atmosphere through A/B testing and statistical modeling involving experimental design using Python ● Published the manuscript on a peer-reviewed journal as first author in collaboration with cross-functional teams displaying writing skills and communication
