Data Manager Lead for Latin America and North America

Manage the Data Managers team in Latin America and North America to collect project data using Kobotoolbox and ODK. Provide virtual and in-person training to project teams and local coordinators in Latin American and North American countries. Perform SQL queries on the database to ensure the data is clean, validated, and standardized. Oversee the data ingestion flow for projects in Latin America and North America. Coordinate the Data Team response to the bug tickets on Freedcamp. Collect feedback from the field teams to propose improvements during the applications sprints and the design of forms on Kobo and ODK. Ensure that the information in Power BI is up to date.

Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

Provide technical guidance in the development, implementation, and evaluation of pilot projects, research operations, and evaluation programs in partnership with Buffalo Bicycles and associated implementation staff. Directing the deployment of Needs Assessments, Post-distribution Monitoring, baseline and end-line data collection, and other community consultation activities. Carry out field activities in strict compliance with safety guidelines. Compile input data, analyze, and report all outputs and information on the investigation's impact. Lead the management and analysis of information strategies for the sustainable impact report, programs and sales decision issues. Develop the annual activities of the program and budget. Oversee implementation and evaluation monitoring for the Bicycle Empowerment Program in Education, economic development, and health programs, collaborating with schools, implementing partners, and stakeholders to oversee implementation. Manage the M&E Salesforce database and use Taroworks, KoboCollect, and CSpro, mobile data collection platform applications, for data entry and reporting routing. Lead the capture, editing, and socialization of program success stories. Manage the implementation of relationships between partners linked to WBR monitoring, evaluation, and research activities. Design strategies to facilitate routes of use of the WBR program, sales databases and promote continuous improvements and a sustainable impact of the bicycle.

Head of Monitoring and Evaluation and Project Coordinator

My role was to manage the M&E system of the organization. I coordinated the alignment of the projects’ frameworks with the theory of change to ensure the achievement of outputs, outcomes, and impacts through an effective information flow mapping that fosters collaboration and adaptation. My responsibilities and deliverables included: Generate monitoring reports and conducting project evaluations; integrating stakeholders into the M&E system; supporting the transformation of the theory of change to the new Sustainable Mines Program; and aligning the M&E system with international initiatives focused on impact (SDGs, GRI, ISEAL).

HIV Program and Project manager

I directed, planned, monitored, and evaluated HIV projects in Colombia’s North Caribbean Region. In addition, I analysed and managed operations; established financial and administrative controls; verified alignment with national policies; evaluated procurement; conducted analyses; and oversaw managerial procedures related to budgeting, contracting project planning and evaluation, and management processes. This work implied interactions with governmental institutions (ministry and health secretariats) and the private sector (healthcare providers and clinical laboratories).

Project Evaluation Consultant

Through a qualitative methodology based on evidence gathering, in-depth interviews, feedback forms, focus groups, round tables, observation, document review, and workshops, I evaluated the impact of a project (ENTEREZAS) aimed at strengthening the public response to violence-based crimes perpetrated on the LGBT population. The evaluation methodology included work with LGBT women victims of hate crimes, and interviews with judicial officials (investigators and prosecutors from the Fiscalía General de la Nación). This Project was funded by Agencia Extremeña de Cooperación Internacional al Desarrollo AEXCID, granted to Fundación Triangulo, and implemented by Corporación Caribe Afirmativo. Also, I provided M&E consultancy services to Corporación Caribe Afirmativo.
