Investment Manager

Monitor portfolio and mutual fund trades daily to ensure timely settlement of the orders. • Handle custodian and bank reconciliations for Mutual funds, WRM and Institutional portfolios • Follow up with all counterparties for settlement of all trades. • Settlement of all orders raised by the investment management unit on Deluxe alongside confirmation of cash at the bank. • Inform fund accounts to pass all necessary entries on all transactions that have settled when they are needed. • Collect and file all confirmation or Investment letters for all trades executed. • Confirm cash balances to the investment management team especially the mutual funds putting into consideration trades that have not settled. • Work with the IM team on all inquiries related to portfolios and the mutual funds. • Send investment letters/ term sheets to relationship managers based on advice shared by the investment management team. • Monthly agency reporting on Naira and USD portfolios. • Reconciliation of cash settled on Deluxe vs Bank. • Support IM handle queries from other departments • Communicating available maturities to the IM team, RM’s, Settlement and Treasury • Forwarding tracker requests to the appropriate teams. • Managing Mixta note investments and maintaining investment record of Mixta investments. • Liquidity management for Mutual Funds and Institutional Portfolios • Handle liquidation and fund withdrawal requests. • Assist PMs in portfolio reports and other reports when needed
