1. Management • Being both the professional and the administrative leader of our standard development projects (5-12 people team size). • Writing the documentation for the projects. 2. Standard development • Revising and harmonizing the current standards’ texts • Collecting use cases missing from the current standards • Drafting rules in a clear, concise and unambiguous language, as required for a standard • Testing the usability of the rules 3. Development of complementary material • Complementary materials include: recommendations, guides, courses, and training materials. 4. Cooperating with the IT development team • Before we commit to a major change we often have experimental projects with our IT team in which we modify the open source integrated library system, Koha, to see if our proposed solution is feasible. 5. Participating in international working groups • I worked with people all around the world to adjust our standards to fit the needs of every community.
