Web Application Developer

Using web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery, I specialize in developing dynamic web applications. I leverage server-side scripting languages like Python and PHP, coupled with MySQL, to create robust, data-driven web services. Below are some of the projects I have undertaken as web application developer part-time for NTU: NTU 3D Energy Mapping and Rendering using Three.js (Fully Web-based): Developed a sophisticated web application for 3D energy mapping and rendering using Three.js, providing interactive visualization of energy consumption within NTU premises.
 NTU Energy Awareness and Mock Room Energy Usage using Flash and PHP: Designed and implemented a web application using Flash and PHP to simulate room energy usage and promote energy awareness among NTU students and staff.
 NTU 3D Building Management System (BMS) Prototype (featured in Lianhe Zaobao Online): Created a prototype for a 3D Building Management System (BMS) for NTU buildings, showcasing innovative features and functionalities that were highlighted in Lianhe Zaobao Online.

Nanyang Polytechnic | May 2009 - May 2010

Development Technologist

Developed several in-house projects to explore the integration of technologies like Zigbee and Arduino into consumer-ready products. Created a prototype smart aquarium using Zigbee as sensor nodes. Integrated Zigbee with a water thermostat to monitor water temperature, transmitting data to a master board connected to a C# application. The application alerts users via SMS when the water temperature exceeds predefined limits. Contributed to indoor GPS positioning tests, gathering and visualizing testing data using C# and storing it in MS SQL. Conducted tests on a wireless charging prototype developed by the NYP Wireless Technology Center. Documented data collection procedures and visualized results in spreadsheets. Supported various final year projects for students assigned to the research lab, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
