Public Transport Network Analysis and Modeling Using Python ● Built and visualized a graph data structure representation of the public transport network for Manchester and London, each consisting of 5 interconnected lines, 25 stations, and estimated edge distances ● Utilized Python libraries including NetworkX, Matplotlib, and Google Maps Platform to construct networks, assign attributes, and display interactive visualizations ● Modelled key characteristics of public transport systems including complete interconnectivity between stations, colour-coding of different lines, and display of station names directly on the network graph ● Suggested potential improvements to commute times based on analysis of network structure, demonstrating ability to interpret models and propose optimization strategies ● Exercised full data analysis cycle from data collection and cleaning to analysis, visualization, and recommendations; implemented in Jupyter Notebook
