Life Cycle and Business Analyst

Business Analyst

My main responsibilities as a Business Analyst at Heidelberg revolve around the use of statistical analysis and report writing to assist senior management. On a day to day basis this involves running reports out of SAP and using the bex analyser tool to examine the customer spend, concessions, and technical service margin. There will also be ad hoc projects that I can be asked to provide support on the most recent one being work on the subscription model. One of the main projects I have been involved in is Sales 4.0 which involves looking at the big data collected on our machines and producing reports and supporting the sales and service function. I also have responsibilities to conduct internal audits and updating our process and procedures to ensure that we stay compliant with ISO 9001.

Placement Officer

Main duties were to organise the placement of patients into nursing homes or set up care packages for patients that were to remain in there own home. This involved liaising with hospital and local authorities to co-ordinate and organise transport for the patient to make sure they could be safely discharged. Speaking to families and next of kin to make sure that there wishes were taken into account and to explain how the process worked and answer any questions that they may have. To investigate any invoices that were over budget and contact the relevant supplier to resolve.
