DSV is one of the top plant breeding and seed-producing companies in Germany. During my internship I worked in the lab department helping with the required assays for marker-assisted breeding (KASP, HRM, agarose and SDS gel electrophoresis) and I also collaborated in a project based on the design and validation of co-dominant KASP primers of the wheat Lr21 gene, involved in leaf rust resistance.

About Me

I am doing a PhD in bionformatics applied to genomics. In university, I learned R and now I am interested in extending my coding knowledge with python. My newly-acquired python skills helped me at developing a program for analyzing my genomic data.
