Junior Data Scientist

modeling to predict demand for vehicle parts. - Developed mathematical optimization models that maximized profit by setting optimal prices based on future parts demand, resulting in a significant increase in revenue and profit margin. - Established effective communication with large dealership stakeholders, explaining data science work in the context of use cases, understanding business logic and gathering user feedback to continuously improve solutions offered. - Implemented MLops practices for deploying and maintaining models, as well as creating efficient pipelines. In addition, I performed DevOps activities such as code review, repository management and deployment to production, ensuring reliable and scalable delivery of data science products. - Designed and built architectures using object-oriented programming to standardize use cases and create plug-and-play products. This enabled rapid implementation of solutions in different contexts and facilitated code and component reuse. - Processed, analyzed and utilized Big Data coming from transactional SAP, using Azure Storage as storage, Azure DataFactory for ETL processes and Azure DataBricks as the main tool for developing data science products with PySpark and various libraries. - Developed and maintained web scrappers using BS4 and Selenium in Python, performing over 7000 queries daily. This allowed automated retrieval of relevant data from external sources for business use.

Researcher in Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence (SNEIA)

As a co-researcher in neuroinformatics and artificial intelligence, my main focus is to generate knowledge and products focused on neuroscience and health. Currently, I am collaborating on the project "Development of a methodology to evaluate the performance of algorithms based on neural networks for the removal of electroencephalography artifacts." My goal is to ensure social appropriation of knowledge in this important field for health and to share my knowledge in medical signal processing, artificial intelligence, and mathematics to those interested through teaching in the neuroinformatics and artificial intelligence seedbed.

- Member in charge of evaluating and following up on institutional research proposals, in order to ensure the respect, rights, dignity and safety of the subjects participating in such research, as well as the integrity of the data obtained. - Institutional implementation of the new Research Ethics Policy Bioethics Scientific Integrity released by the Ministry of Science and Technology. - Study and implementation of Colombian and international jurisdiction for medical ethics and scientific integrity; as well as data protection.
